As a lightning strike survivor himself, Brian Smack brings a deep understanding for the severe weather needs and challenges of the modern-day golf and club industries. At AEM, he focuses on providing clubs with customized solutions for lightning and severe weather safety. Smack is a seasoned PGA Golf Professional who has worked at some the largest clubs in the Middle Atlantic PGA & Northeastern NY PGA Sections. Now, he works closely with executive sales management and marketing to implement strategies to grow the market.

Brad Slocum has been with the Section since the beginning of 2017, where he was the Tournament Director for four years and has now been the Assistant ED for an additional four seasons. Slocum has run over 400 professional events in his time at the PGA and over 500 Amateur and Junior events prior to his time at the Section. Slocum has used several weather systems over the years, but has been working/partnering with Earth Networks for his last seven seasons. Brad is also currently a PGA Associate.
