2026 Summer Outlook
Drought, Water Supply, Heat, and Wildfire Risks
As summer approaches, emerging El Niño conditions, below-normal snowpack in parts of the western U.S., and ongoing drought are shaping seasonal risks across North America. These factors are raising concerns around water supply, wildfire potential, energy demand, smoke impacts, and air quality heading into the months ahead.
In this webinar, AEM meteorologists will break down the key drivers shaping summer 2026, including expected temperature and precipitation patterns and areas of elevated wildfire risk across the U.S. and Canada.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask our panelists questions during a live Q&A session.
