As President of Davis Instruments, Chris has been instrumental in the integration of the Davis Instruments business with AEM. She currently handles product operations for Ambrook, a company focused on making sustainable practices in agriculture profitable. Prior to her current role she worked on the innovation team at Indigo Ag, and she worked at Mineral, an Alphabet company focused on scaling sustainable agriculture. She holds an MBA and Master’s degree in Operations Research from MIT, and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Math and Economics from Brown.

Dan Brown’s family has been farming in the Pacific Northwest since his great-great-grandfather came across the Oregon Trail in the late 1800s. The current farm, now in its fifth generation, has been in operation since 1875. Dan runs the daily operations and major construction projects for the farm, which currently raises about 550 acres of hazelnuts and walnuts. He’s also responsible for many of the innovations that the farm has implemented in recent years, including its sub-surface drip irrigation and the heat exchanger that they use to dry nuts more efficiently.
